Sample Projects
The Sample Projects window shows available sample applications for Cognex Designer. These samples are meant to illustrate how a specific Cognex Designer functionality is integrated to create a working application.

To open a sample project, simply select and double-click it in the Sample Projects list of the launch page. This creates a new project in your default Projects folder (<X>:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Cognex Designer\Projects). Saving this project then allows you to develop the sample further as a new vision application, and will be listed in the Recent Projects window as a new project.
Note: If you select a sample project from the Sample Projects window, and it has already been opened and saved, Designer will create a new project with a number appended (e.g. FunctionSample1, FunctionSample2, etc.).
